ANEMONE

Created with the Met Gala 2024 theme in mind, ANEMONE creates controlled drama through volume and texture. To apply the feathers, I created faux metal clay bases that would allow them to stand up straight when glued in properly. I then stitched each base to the dress in a pattern that concealed the clay. The buttons on the back of the garment were also made using clay and are stitched onto a faux placket that conceals the zipper closure.
