FORM & FUNCTION

I designed this outfit while studying abroad in Florence, Italy, for my patternmaking final. The blouse was derived from the idea of a distorted dress shirt, with an open back and reversed collar. For the pants, I wanted to play with texture and proportion, making them out of an unexpected sweater knit that allows comfortable wearing without sacrificing sophistication.
